Gingham has been everywhere for the past few seasons and expect to see more of it. But also expect to see some more check in there too. A very specific print that you’re going to see is the Prince of Wales Check which we are loving in blazer form. It’s perfect with a pair of jeans or over a black dress. There’s really so many ways to wear this. There’s also something so stylish about a statement blazer. If you only invest in one thing, make it a check blazer.
We’re sure you’ve seen that Gucci T-Shirt everywhere by now. But thankfully the trend has filtered down the fashion food chain and we can now afford to hop on the bandwagon. We’re not sure how Topshop are getting away with it, but their t-shirts are looking very similar! If in your face slogans aren’t your thing try going for something a little bit more subtle like Whistles’ cute Je Ne Sais Quoi t-shirt.
Along with t-shirts, slogan sweater is already everywhere and expect that to continue on through winter into the spring, so it’s well worth investing now. Even though we adore Bella Freuds creations they’re *slightly* out of our budget range. But fear not, there are some similar ones available on the high-street. New Look are killing it with their sweaters and now River Island have gotten in on it too.
Hands up if you were made wear velvet all the time during your childhood. Yep, its back, again. You can go all out with velvet jumpsuits or play it safe with some of the fab kimonos on offer. We adore the & Other Stories Velvet Bomber. And those velvet boots! We happened to spy a pair very similar in Penneys recently!
Which trend do you think you’ll be wearing?
