Shout out to Aldi for gifting us another great makeup dupe!
The Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes are very popular with makeup lovers. The only thing is, they’re super expensive! BUT Aldi have just announced that they are releasing 3 new eyeshadow palettes this Sunday 27th of September and we think that they look very similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes retail for €49.86. The Aldi Eyeshadow Palettes are €7.86. So you could buy all 3 of the Aldi palettes for less than half the cost of one ABH palette, just saying…
Let’s take a better look to see how similar they actually are…
The Aldi Desert Rain Velvet Eyeshadow Palette Looks A lot Like Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette...
The Soft Glam Palette is one of Anastasia Beverly Hills’ most popular palettes. The mix of browns and orange tones and a few shimmer shades means it’s easy to create day-time looks and full on going out glamour looks.
The Aldi dupe for the Soft Glam palette isn’t exactly the same, but you can see that great care has been paid to match the colours and place them in the same location on the palette.
The Aldi Moon Dust Velvet Eyeshadow Palette Looks Like The Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette
Another popular offering from Anastasia Beverly Hills is their Norvina Palette. Again, Aldi have tried very hard to match all of the shades. The ABH palette looks a little bit more shimmery and the colours seem to “pop” a bit more, but we think Aldi have done a very good dupe for the Norvina Palette!
The Revival Velvet Eyeshadow Palette Looks Like The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
The Modern Renaissance Palette is possibly the most famous ABH palette. Most beauty lovers probably already have it in their collection, but we know we have hit pan on quite a few shades in ours, so we will definitly be checking out Aldi’s dupe for The Modern Renaissance Palette
How Do They Really Compare?
Quality-wise we’re not sure how the Laura offering will stack up against Anastasia Beverly Hills. ABH are known for their pigmented eyeshadow formulas that blend like a dream. We would be very skeptical about a brand trying to recreate them BUT Aldi are very good at doing beauty. The quality of their makeup dupes is really outstanding.
And for only €7.86 we will definitly be investing in one of their palettes to compare…okay we’re defo buying all three, but we swear it’s just for research purposes!
The Aldi eyeshadow palettes will be on sale in Aldi stores from Sunday 27th September. You can get more info here.
