There’s a brand new episode of Euphoria coming your way VERY soon…
We have some good news! Euphoria will be returning to our screens in December!
Fresh from winning an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress, Zendaya will return as troubled 17-year-old Rue for a special one-off standalone episode of the brilliantly honest and effecting series Euphoria. In the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station and relapsing, the first special episode follows Rue as she celebrates Christmas
This Is Not Season 2

First things first; this special episode of Euphoria is not season 2. The brand new episode is being billed as a special, stand-alone episode that picks up where season 1 left off. Season 2 will hopefully air in 2021.
This special is set to focus on Rue. Due to COVID-19 creators of Euphoria struggled to get season 2 into production. A lot of cast and crew are needed to film a TV show, so doing an episode that focused on Rue meant that they could cut down on the actors needed to film the Euphoria special.
There will also be a second special episode before season 2 officially starts, but as of yet there hasn’t been a date confirming when that episode will air. With the first special titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always” and billed as “Part 1: Rue” on social media, there’s already speculation about who “Part 2” will focus on.
Could the second episode be about Jules? Only time will tell.
When will the Euphoria special be released in Ireland?
The special episode of Euphoria will air on Monday 7 December at 9pm on Sky Atlantic. It will also be available on NOW TV that same day.
