Aldi Beauty: The NARS and Urban Decay Dupes You Need To Know About

Team Missy

Walking around Aldi stores in recent months you may have noticed that the brand has now extended its beauty category. Aldi now offers makeup, skincare, suncare and bodycare along with products for the home, such as diffusers and candles.
What is also becoming more and more popular is lookalike products from Lacura which retail at low prices. However, the Lacura range is not to be dismissed as the product offers great quality and performance mainly due to the formulas and ingredients used within these lookalike products, which are very similar to other well known brands.
Here at missy.ie we love a good dupe. So we took a look at all the Aldi dupes to see how they compare

Lacura Pink Clay Range

This is *very* similar to the Australian Sand & Sky range, but at a fraction of the cost. Aldi offers a mask, hot cloth cleanser and exfoliator. It claims to reduces the appearance of imperfections and detoxifies skin while leaving your skin looking clearer and brighter.

Lacura Facial Cream

This is Aldi’s answer to Kiehl’s Ultimate Face Cream. This cream offers 24 hours of moisture, whilst being very gentle on the skin, making it perfect to combat winter skin.

Lacura Eyeshadow Palettes

If this doesn’t resemble the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette, we’re not sure what does. While smaller, it still offers the key nude shades. There are also two other versions similar to Naked Basics.

Lacura Liquid Illuminator

This highlighter may not quite look the same as Iconic London Illuminator, but the formula is quite similar.  Iconic is Instagrams illuminator of choice, but with Aldi’s version performing just as well this is a must try!

Lacura Healthy Glow Rose Oil

Another dupe offering from Aldi is a lookalike for the Pixi Rose Oil Blend. This is great for nourishing skin and giving it a good glow boost. The rose oil extract is also great for sensitive skin.

Lacura Snapshot Ready Foundation Primer

This could only resemble the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, which is revered in the beauty world. Aldi’s version is oil free and claims to have many similar benefits to the original, in that is blurs imperfections and stops makeup sitting in open pores and fine lines.

Lacura Loose Setting Powder

While we all love Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder but it can be a little pricey… Aldi’s version is good to your purse as well as your skin.

Lacura Too Legit Mascara

Does this mascara perform as well as Benefit They’re Real??  Apparently so at a fraction of the cost.

Lacura Overnight Repair Concentrate

Another Kiehl’s dupe from Aldi is this Lacura Overnight Repair Concentrate, which looks like a double for The Midnight Recovery Concentrate. This is a nighttime oil that hydrates and visibly restores skin and replenishes it for smoother, healthier-looking skin—all while you sleep.

Lacura Healthy Glow Retinol Toner

One of the most known about Aldi dupes is their Healthy Glow tonic which has similar ingredients and packaging to the famed Pixi Glow Tonic. Aldi have since broadened their range to include a Healthy Glow Retinol Toner, which you guessed it, looks very similar to the Pixi Retinol Tonic.
A lot of the beauty offers from Aldi tend to be available in the ‘Specialbuy’ area of the store and not the beauty section. The products also change quite regularly, so make sure that you keep an eye out in Aldi stores and online.
Are there any other dupes you’d like to see in the shopping aisles of Aldi?
