This isn’t an exact dupe; the wet n wild one is a highlighter and the Charlotte Tilbury one is more of a primer, but both products have a doe-foot applicator and give a lovely glow-y finish. The wet n wild Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter is fab mixed with foundation or used to highlight your cheekbones.

We spoke about the Revolution Concealer before. It’s long been lauded as a great dupe for the famed Tarte Shape Tape Concealer which isn’t available in Ireland BUT we’ve tried both and we actually kinda prefer the Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer. This is great if you have some seriously dark under-eye circles or need to conceal a particular nasty, red spot.

Some people think eyeliner is eyeliner, but say blasphemy! We need a good eyeliner that applies well, dries matte and stays on ALL day. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner’ Liquid Eyeliner ticks all those boxes, but with a lot of drama sounding the brand lately we were ready to move on. We managed to find a cheaper alternative in the NYX Epic Ink Eyeliner. Yay!

A lot of brands try to create drugstore makeup dupes and not all succeed. We’ve seen a ton of eyeshadow palettes that try to be Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette but don’t come close. Carter Beauty Warm Velvet Eyeshadow Palette came for Modern Renaissance and may have outdone it! There are similar shades and some extra ones too!

The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is another thing that’s super popular on YouTube, but not available in Ireland. Fear not though, the L’Oreal Shake & Glow Dew Mist does the same job for a fraction of the cost, and you don’t need your passport!

We absolutely adore the Penneys PS… mascara at missy.ie. We may have beyond devastated that Smokey Lash was discontinued, but we’ve made room in our hearts for Fake It. It’s the EXACT same as Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, packaging and all! Seriously, you’re mad to spend more that €3 on mascara when there’s such high-quality products like this available!
