The Best Makeup Looks At The 2020 Golden Globe Awards

Team Missy

We’ve already taken a look at the best fashion moments from The Golden Globes, now it’s time to talk makeup looks!
There were 3 really obvious trends on the red-carpet last night…

Sofia Carson

Sofia matched her unreal pink gown to her makeup last night by sticking to light pink tones for her eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. Pink perfection!

Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse always keeps it very simple when it comes to makeup, but it really works on her.
The simple shimmery peach eye shadow really makes her blue eyes pop.

Taylor Swift

Taylor went a little bit more dramatic with her look by using false eye lashes, but still the over-all looks was very simple.

Dakota Fanning

Dakota and Saoirse could have been twins wither their natural brows, peach eye shadow and peachy-nude lipstick.

Winnie Harlow

We need a tutorial for this look right now!

Joey King

Joey matched her makeup to her stunning dress by sticking to a monochrome theme and looked incredible. We’ll say it again; the best look of the night!
Joey’s makeup artist, ALLAN AVENDAÑO, used all Urban Decay products to create the look, including the iconic All Nighter Setting Spray and the Glide-On Eye Pencil in “cuff” all over her lid for that gorgeous metallic finish.

Lucy Boynton

Lucy’s look isn’t for everyone but we like how playful and fun her eye makeup is.

Zoë Kravitz

Zoe kept her makeup very simple and let her bold red lip do all the talking. Zoe used the very clever ombre lipstick trick to make her lips really pop.
To re-create use a dark red lipstick on the outer corner of your lips, a bit like how you would use lip-liner, then use a slightly lighter colour on the inner part of your lips. Once applied use a small lip-bush to blend the two colours together. This trick also makes your lips look bigger.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw

This stunning coral coloured lipstick really brightens up Gugu’s complexion and the colour clash works so well with her dress.

Jane Levy

The cranberry eye shadow trend is still huge! We love how Jane paired it with a bold red lip.

Ana de Armas

Knives Out star Ana looked straight out of the old-Hollywood era with her bold red lipstick and perfect eyeliner.
