Disney+ Will Be Available Through Sky Q In Ireland

Team Missy

Good news for everyone looking forward to the launch of Disney+ in Ireland later this month; Disney+ will be available to purchase on Sky Q.
Disney+ will be available in a similar way to how Netflix is already available as part of a Sky package. Sky also said Disney+ would be made available to purchase through NOW TV ‘in the coming months’.
The companies did not announce pricing details for the Sky-Disney+ package, but Disney+ is available as a standalone service for €6.99 per month, €69.99 per year, or €59.99 for the first year for customers who sign up before launch on March 24.

What’s On Disney+?

Disney+ has been a huge hit since it launched in limited locations in November. The new streaming platform includes a library of content from Disney and its subsidiary brands Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and National Geographic and is set to be a huge rival to Netflix, which has lost the rights to Disney content.
In addition to the wider Disney back catalogue, Disney+ will also feature original productions such mockumentary High School Musical: the Musical: the Series, (which we cannot wait to see!) as well as The Mandalorian, a western set in the Star Wars universe that has brought us Baby Yoda!
A reboot of the 00s show Lizzie McGuire is also in production, with much more Disney related content set to follow.
