Hit Show ‘Cruel Summer’ Is Hitting Irish Screens Soon
We have a great new TV show recommendation for you that’s hitting Irish screens VERY soon; Cruel Summer.
Described as Pretty Little Liars but better, Cruel Summer looks like it’s going to fill the Mare of Easttown sized hole in our lives. It’s set in the early 1990’s so it has a great soundtrack (which sadly does not include Taylor Swifts song Cruel Summer!) and is produced by Jessica Biel, who’s recently been known for her work on the mystery series The Sinner.
Set in the fictional town of Skylin, Texas, each episode focuses on the same day over the course of three years: 1993, 1994 and 1995. The series follows two teenage girls: Kate Wallis is a beloved popular girl who one day disappears without a trace. Jeanette Turner is an awkward outcast who seemingly takes over Kate’s life after she goes missing.

When Will Cruel Summer Be Available on The UK and Ireland?
Cruel Summer will be available to watch in Ireland and the UK on Amazon Prime from the 6th of August.
Cruel Summer has already been confirmed for a season 2 due to how popular it was when it aired in the US.
We can’t wait until it hits Irish screens!
