Netflix was very good to us in 2018. Not only did they release To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, they also blessed us with The Kissing Booth!
Well, 2020 is the year that Netflix brings us sequels! We’ve already had To All The Boys: P.S I Still Love You and now we’re getting The Kissing Booth 2 – yay!
Here’s everything that you need to know…
What's it going to be about?
The second movie is based on the second book, The Kissing Booth 2: Going To Distance, which we’ve already chatted about – it’s already out, in case you didn’t know!
At the end of the first movie we saw Elle and Noah say goodbye as he headed off to start college, but now they have to navigate life as a long-distance couple. AND there’s a new guy on the scene who’s very interested in Elle…
The cast is returning...
The original cast of The Kissing Booth has signed on for the second movie, thank God!
Joey King will be back as Elle Evans beside Joel Courtney plays the role of Lee Flynn, Noah’s younger brother, and Elle’s best friend. Jacob Elordi will play the role of Noah Flynn and Molly Ringwald will be back for more views as Lee and Noah’s mother.
We’re kinda wondering how awkward it was between Joey King and Jacob Elordi though…the two dated during production of the first movie and then broke up. Jacob is now reportedly dating his Euphoria co-star Zendaya.
When is The Kissing Booth 2 release date?
At the moment we don’t know. BUT we do know that it will be released *sometime* in 2020.
Joey King confirmed that the movie wrapped production back in August – so it does officially exist!
The Kissing Booth came out during the summer of 2018, so chances are it will be released during summer 2020, so we can spend days on end watching and re-watching it.
Please show me the trailer for The Kissing Booth 2!
Soz, but there’s no trailer…yet!
You can watch the teaser trailer below for the millionth time though!
If you can't wait for the movie, you should read the book!
The sizzling sequel to the Kissing Booth. Soon to be a Netflix film!
Elle Evans seems to have finally tamed hotter-than-hot bad boy Noah Flynn, but now they’re facing a new challenge. Noah’s 3,000 miles away at Harvard, which means they’re officially a long-distance couple – and it’s tough. After all, there’s only so much texts and calls can do- and when Elle sees a post which suggests Noah’s getting friendly with someone else, she’s devastated.
On top of that, it’s hard to ignore new boy Levi. He’s gentle, sweet, cute – and definitely interested in Elle.
With her heart on the line, what’s a girl to do?
This post will be updated as more information is announced.
