We’re not sure how we feel about this, buts Uggs are officially back. A staple of early 00’s fashion are officially the must have shoe of 2022. But it’s not just any Uggs that our favourite fashion gals are rocking, it’s all about the mini Uggs.
Everyone’s Rocking The Mini UGG
They’re making the rounds in Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, and Gigi Hadid’s off-duty wardrobes. And the biggest mini Ugg wave is crashing onto our phones via TikTok.
“Get Ready With Me” videos on the same platform are heavily featuring mini Ugg boots as shoppers—not just Gen Z—rediscover all sorts of Y2k pieces. Demand for mini Uggs jumped 8,233.33% on TikTok from July to December 2021, according to a Clothes2Order study. Currently, the TikTok hashtag “Mini Uggs” has nearly 30 million views on the platform. (“Ugg boots,” meanwhile, has 39.4 million views.)
Post pandemic comfy clothes are here to stay. And what’s more comfortable than the UGG? Mini Uggs are especially suited to days when all you want to wear are an oversized sweater, leggings, and high socks.
