Confession: I’m not a huge fan of OTT highlighters.
I know that Jeffree Star has ushered in a certain look when it comes to highlighters, but it’s just not for me. I prefer a more natural glow from my highlighter. Which is why I wasn’t too sure about the wet n wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder when I first saw it; it just looked way too out there for me. But I was so wrong! And I am officially obsessed with it now!
Despite being a powder the wet n wild Megaglo Highlighting Powders have an almost creamy-like texture, so it goes on like a dream. It’s also really buildable; you can keep it subtle during the day, or build it up to have a poppin’ highlighter for the night.
I find that a lot of highlighter go way overboard with glitter in them, so it ends up looking kinda ridiculous and cheap, but the wet n wild Megaglo Highlighting Powders give a nice glow without making you look like a sparkly disco ball.
There’s also a good selection when it comes to shades. If you like something with a pinky tone there’s Bloom Time. Or if you like something more on the bronze side there’s Awesome Blossom. Both shades just launched in stores as part of the new collection. The colour I’m devoted to is Precious Petals, which is more a Champaign colour. I just apply a bit to my cheekbones, cupids bow and my brow bone.
But, like OMG, we really need to talk about how the wet n wild Megaglo Highlighting Powders are only €5.25!!!
The wet n wild Highlighter is honestly the best, regardless of the price. AND it was one of the top-selling highlighters in the UK last year! So, I’m not alone in my love.
Have you tried the wet n wild highlighter?
