Journalling is a very popular way of asking the universe for whatever it is you want to manifest. This is because it allows you to express yourself freely in the written word. There are a few different types of journalling.
Writing your dreams and goals down daily in a journal is a great way to focus your mind. As mentioned if you can see your goals outlined in front of you, it can be easier to focus and work towards them.
A part of manifesting is showing gratitude for what you already have in life, and acknowledging signs from the universe that you are on the right path. Writing these down alongside your daily visualisations is extremely helpful when it comes to focusing which enables you to manifest.
Future scirpting is a type of manifesting that falls under journalling. It’s basically like keeping a diary of your future life. You see the life you want and write about it as though it is happening or has already happened.
55 x 5 Method
The 55 x 5 method involves a lot of writing, hence why it falls under this category. It is used to manifest by many and involved writing down your goals or what you want 55 times for 5 days in a row. It’s routed in the idea of changing your subconscious thinking over 5 days.
Affirmations are positive statements written in the present tense. Affirmation statements in manifesting should relate to the thing you hope to manifest. You re-read these statement when looking for clarification.
Similar to journaling but not quite the same, you can also write letters to the universe asking it for whatever it is you are hoping to manifest. Follow the same steps to journalling, setting your goals and acknowledging what you’re grateful for. You can then keep the letter in a box or drawer, or burn it to release it into the universe. If burning, be careful and ask a parent or guardian for permission.
Meditation is associated with many different aspects of life. It can be used for manifestation as the idea of meditation is to consider ones thoughts on a subject or matter. Mindfulness meditation is a great way to manifest. Relax and focus on your breathing. As you breath, pay attention to how you feel. You then need to affirm that what you are manifesting is positive and good. Repeat this in your mind to yourself. Sentences like “I am a good person” or whatever feels most comfortable to you. After a few minutes of breathing and affirming, you can start to manifest.
Manifesting Through Meditation
A good way to combine meditation with manifesting is to think about your goals and visualise yourself living that life whilst you meditate. Pay extra attention to even the smallest of details like the sights and sounds that come into your head whilst manifesting. This is similar to future scripting but remains in your head.
3 x 6 x 9 Method
This method can be written in a journal, or you can do it in your head, similar to meditation. This method of manifesting was made popular on TikTok.
It involves writing or thinking about what it is you wish to manifest 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon and 9 times in the evening. Similar to the 55 x 5 method, the idea is to train your subconscious into focusing on your goals.
