Movies We’re Looking Forward To Seeing…At Some Point
We’re sure it doesn’t need to be said, but wow 2020 has not been great.
Sure, there’s been some bright spots along the way, lessons learned and life really quietened down, but overall it’s not a year that we’ll look back on fondly.
Every aspect of life has been touched by the COVID-19 pandemic, including the movie industry. A lot of movies had their release dates pushed back due to issues showing movies in cinemas. As it stands, no movie is 100% confirmed for a 2020 release. It’s a wait and see sort of situation. But there are hopes that some might go ahead in November and December 2020.
BUT there are some really great movies set to be released at some point in time. So, here’s a few 2020 movie releases worth getting excited about and going out to see once they are released to support the movie industry and get our much-needed entertainment fix…
The Broken Hearts Gallery
Dacre Montgomery is in this movie, what more do you need to know?
Mulan
Mulan was originally scheduled for a March 2020 release, but we all know what happened in March…
Mulan definitly looks like it will be worth the wait though.
A Quiet Place Part II
A Quiet Place Part II is a 2020 American horror film and the sequel to A Quiet Place (2018), which was honestly one of the best movies of the past few years (it’s currently on Netflix too!)
The Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
Promising Young Woman
Nothing in Cassie’s life is what it appears to be — she’s wickedly smart, tantalizingly cunning, and she’s living a secret double life by night. Now, an unexpected encounter is about to give Cassie a chance to right the wrongs from the past.
TENET
The release of TENET has been pushed back a number of times due to the pandemic, so who knows when it’s coming out at this point. It will probably be the first big blockbuster to come out once movies get going again, so expect a lot of hype.
Very little is known about the movie, but it looks…interesting?
Peter Rabbit 2
If ever we just needed a nice, wholesome movie to switch off to it’s now.
Peter Rabbit 2 was due for release in March, then it was pushed to August and now it’s scheduled for release in January 2021.
Wonder Woman 1984
We were SO looking forward to the sequal to Wonder Woman coming out this year!
In 1984, during the Cold War, Diana comes into conflict with two formidable foes—media businessman Maxwell Lord and friend-turned-enemy Barbara Minerva / Cheetah—while reuniting with her love interest Steve Trevor
Black Widow
FINALLY a stand-alone movie for Black Widow!! Whenever it comes out, we will be there!
What 2020 movie releases are you most looking forward to?
