10 Questions With…Jess Diskin
In the final installment of our 10 Questions With…we caught up with fashion blogger and content creator Jess Diskin.
As we come into exam season, we thought it would be fitting to catch up with Jess, who is known for giving study and exam tips on her social media. Whilst she studied Biomedical Science in NUIG, she often gave followers advice for exam season, as well as her tried and tested study methods. Since finishing college, she has been focusing on her styling and makeup videos and boasts over 70k followers on TikTok. She recently moved to Australia where she also takes us along in her daily life as she navigates the move across the pond.
What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?
I would be lying if I didn’t say it was a scroll through socials first thing! Then I headed to a morning pilates class.
Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
My mom and dad! I try to catch up with them a few times a week now that Im living in Australia. It can be tricky with the time difference at times though.
Last thing you bought?
My vanilla iced latte on my walk home from Pilates. I always treat myself to a coffee afterwards.
A fashion trend you hate?
The tiny glasses, I just can’t seem to warm to that trend!
What destination is on your bucket list?
Japan is definitely number one on my list at the moment. It looks amazing.
Last series you binge-watched?
I’m currently binge-watching Desperate Housewives and I am obsessed!
Something you want to achieve in 2024?
Passing my driving test is definitely my main priority at the moment! Also, working on my social media content more.

Biggest ick/pet-peeve?
Loud chewing – it drives me mad!
Ireland or Australia?
Ooh that’s a tough question! I really love the lifestyle in Australia but Ireland will always trump.
