There’s been a lot of talk and controversy about the Irish blogging industry over the past few weeks. A lot of conversations have been a long time coming, but it’s unfair to tar all bloggers with the same brush. Especially when it has been mainly “Influencers” who have attracted the most criticism. There are some incredible bloggers in Ireland doing consistently amazing work all the time.
We’d love to make this a semi-regular feature because it’s really important to support the smaller bloggers out there. They are women working for themselves and it’s becoming a harder industry all the time due to all the fake followers, algorithm changes etc. on the go. It’s practically criminal that Tara doesn’t have a bigger following, but her content is just perfection. Tara currently lives in NYC where she works as a full-time content creator. You can tell that she’s also a photographer because she has a wonderful eye for getting a great shot. Tara also has an amazing YouTube Channel that should immediately be put in your Sub Box.

There’s just something so lovely and sparkly about Kate’s feed that we just love. It always puts us in such a good mood. Expect to see some behind the scenes of Kate’s job at Benefit HQ in Dublin as well as travel and fashion posts. Kate is a very busy gal because along with her full-time job she has not one, but two blogs!

We love Emer aka Penneys To Prada because although she definitely has a great eye for photography there’s a “realness” to her profile that’s just so refreshing to see. She’s a busy gal as she’s currently juggling college as well as her blog. Emer’s grid is a great mix of fashion, beauty and lifestyle. And you can’t forgot her legendary roundups of the latest best buys in Penneys. And we love tuning into her chats on her Instagram Stories too. We came across Ella’s feed very recently, but we are obsessed with her ‘gram and her blog. Ella is from Ireland, but currently works as a Tunnel Engineer in London. In a very male dominated industry it’s so inspiring and empowering to see a women in that job. And as obvious from her Insta Ella still brings her own style to the job.

Maybe not as big as some of the other accounts on our list, but we are really loving Jessie’ feed. She’s based in our hometown of Wexford, so it’s always fun to see her newest location pop up on our feed. Jessie named her blog “Whats Your Wan Wearing” to put a more positive spin on the often negative and very Irish phrase. Love.
