Talk about an 80s classic!
Marty McFly and his scientist pal Doc are stranded in 1955 after one of Doc’s experiments goes wrong. Whilst there, Marty encounters his parents as teenagers and must ensure that they fall in love, otherwise, he and his siblings will cease to exist.
This is a great option for dads who grew up in the 80s and love science fiction. It’s also the first part of a trilogy, so why not make a day of it?

Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby


This classic comedy is great for dads who love cars!
NASCAR driver Ricky, played by Will Ferrell, is one of the best in the business, but when he’s beat by a rival driver he must do anything he can to get himself back on top.
This is a great option for any Will Ferrell fan and will have you laughing the whole way through.

Muppets Most Wanted


This is a fantastic option if you have younger siblings and chances are your dad grew up watching The Muppet Show!
Whilst the muppets are on a world tour, an evil Kermit lookalike replaces him in the group and lands the real Kermit in a Siberian prison. This evil Kermit, Constantine, lands the muppets in the middle of a jewellery heist. Will Constantine succeed in his evil plan? Or will the real Kermit come to the rescue?
This is a hilarious comedy with great musical numbers that every member of your family can enjoy. It has cameos from some of the best actors in Hollywood, such as Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Ray Liotta, that your dad will really enjoy!

Who doesn’t love Andy Samberg?
Andy Samberg (from Brooklyn 99) plays Rod, a clumsy, accident-prone slacker who dreams of being a stunt man. When his stepfather needs an operation, Rod decides to perform his most dangerous stunt yet to raise the funds to pay for it.
This is a hilarious movie with great stunts, and even better fails. This might be a new one for your dad, but he’s sure to love it!

Mrs Doubtfire


This hilarious and heartfelt story of a father and his love for his children is perfect for fathers day!
A divorced actor, played by Robin Williams, disguises himself as an ageing housekeeper in order to spend more time with his children.
Any Robin Williams movie is a family favourite, but Daniel’s love for his children in this movie, making it one of the best movies to watch on Father’s Day.

Men In Black


Aliens, Will Smith, and cool music, what’s not to love?
The men in black are an unofficial government group, that regulates all things alien-related on earth. Kay and Jay are two agents who discover an intergalactic terrorist plan to assassinate two very important ambassadors who reside in New York City and must stop him before it’s too late.
Chances are your dad has seen this and loves it, so why not ask him can you watch it together. It also has two sequels, plus a 2019 reboot starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.

Meet The Parents


Who’s dad doesn’t love Robert De Niro?
When Greg meets his girlfriend’s parents for the first time, he’s hoping to propose during his stay. However, when his girlfriend’s father decides he’s not a fan, things start to go awry.
This hysterical comedy about an over-protective dad is beyond perfect for fathers day. It also has a great sequel called Meet The Fockers.
