To say goodbye to 2018 we thought that we would look at the 5 most-read articles on missy.ie during the year…
1.5 Things Mrs. Hinch Taught us
Who would have thought that our most-read article would have been about cleaning?! ♀️ Not, us!
But the most popular article on missy.ie in 2018 was all about the meteoric rise of Mrs. Hinch on Instagram and how she had us obsessed with naming everyday household items. Thank God the word Minky is now in our vocabulary! With a book on the way in 2019 we have a feeling that we’ll still be obsessing!
2. 10 Irish Instagram Accounts To Follow
There was a lot of drama in the Irish blogging world in 2018 (see below), but we felt that some of the super amazing gals who work their butts off where going unnoticed – and we weren’t the only ones looking for some good eggs to follow. Our list of some of the Best Irish Instagram Accounts To Follow was our most searched for on Google in 2018.
3. How To Steal Betty Coopers Makeup Look
We’ve covered all of the Riverdale gals makeup looks now on missy.ie, but Betty really is your Queen B! We love her natural looking makeup and it seems you do too. In a world with lots of filters, it’s so refreshing to see Betty IRL, Lili Reinhart, be honest about skin and body woes. Love her!
4. The Irish Influencer Scandal
One of the biggest talking points in the first half of the year was Bloggers Unveiled, aka the Gossip Girl of Ireland! The drama feels like a lifetime ago, and we still have SO many questions about the identity of BU, but honestly a lot the call-outs were needed. We voiced our concerns about the false fantasies and body image issues that Irish Influencers were spreading back in February.
5. Steal The Look: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
THE movie of 2018 was without question To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. We were (and still are!) obsessed with the movie. And just like us you wanted to know how to re-create Lara Jean’s awesome wardrobe. We cannot wait for the sequel, P.S I Still Love You. Fingers crossed that it drops in 2019!
