Phoebe Dynevor To Star In TV Adaptation of ‘Exciting Times’
Exciting times! Irish authors are continuing their takeover of television; Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor has been announced as the star of the TV adaption of Irish author Naoise Dolan’s debut novel, Exciting Times.
We previously mentioned Exciting Times as a book that’s quite similar in themes to Normal People. And now Exciting Times is following Normal People and Conversations With Friends to the small screen.
The new series is in development at Amazon Studios and Phoebe Dynevor will not only star in the series, she’s also an Executive Producer.
What’s Exciting Times About?
Exciting Times centers on Ava, an Irish transplant teaching English grammar in Hong Kong to wealthy children. She becomes entangled in a love triangle with banker Julian and lawyer Edith.
When Will Exciting Times Be Released?
The series is only in the development stages at the moment, so it will be well into 2022, if not 2023, before we get to see it, but we think it will be worth the wait!
