What Is ‘The Witches’ About?
‘The Witches’ is a childhood classic, brought to us by none other than Roald Dahl. Never heard of him? He’s the genius behind ‘Matilda’ and ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.’
In short, ‘The Witches’ “tells the story of a brave young boy and his Norwegian grandmother as they battle England’s witches.” The book was first turned into a movie in 1990, and now it’s back starring Academy Award winners Anne Hathaway and Octavia Spencer.

When Will ‘The Witches’ Be Released?
Warner Bros. have said “Roald Dahl’s The Witches” [will be] available to rent on Premium Video On Demand (PVOD) in Ireland from 26th October, just in time for Halloween. The film will be available to watch instantly for a 48-hour rental from participating digital retailers.”
