10 Questions With…Jodie Dodrill
We are back this week to catch up with the wonderful Jodie Dodrill to ask her this weeks 10 questions.
Jodie has been in the social media game for a number of years now. The makeup artist and content creator from Dublin covers all aspects from make-up, to fashion, to travel content. A self-confessed insta girlie, she has amassed a strong following of over 26,000 followers – and if you aren’t already following, where have you been?!
1. What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?
Cleansed my face! Morning skincare is always my very first step of the day. Then the second step is coffee!
2. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
JP, my boyfriend. I rang him to ask him how his day was and if he missed me because we haven’t seen each other all week!
3. Makeup or skincare?
Omg that is such a hard question. I think the right answer is skincare because it will keep my skin slaying and healthy…but my life would be so boring with zero makeup products?! So I have to say makeup!
4. What destination is on your bucket list?
Oh I love this question! I’m lucky that I got to see a lot of my bucket list places last year when we went travelling. Nut I think the fist place that comes to mind is Lapland!
5. Last series you binge-watched?
Baby Reindeer on Netflix! I couldn’t stop thinking about it, it’s based on a true story, but I only found out after that the main character in the series actually plays himself! So now I feel like I need to re-watch it with a new perspective.
6. What is your go-to karaoke song?
I am not a karaoke girl, I cannot sing! If I had to, it would probably be Valerie by Amy Winehouse.
7. Something you want to achieve in 2024?
Oh this is a good question. Maybe pass my driving test and get a car! I’m in my driving era!
8. Last thing you bought?
A cute top and heels from Penneys – I never leave there empty-handed!
9. TikTok or Instragram?
Instagram all day every day! I’ve always been an insta gal, now lately I have been loving TikTok and use it daily. To be honest, I do spend hours scrolling on TikTok, it’s a lot more entertaining. From a work and hobby point of view – insta girl until I die!
10. Quote/advice you live by?
Okay, what I live by the most is “What is for you won’t pass you by”, “Everything happens for a reason”, and “What you put out into the universe is what you’ll attract”.
