10 Questions With…Keilidh Cashell
Keilidh Cashell has the world at her feet. The 28-year-old from County Monaghan started off with humble beginnings, posting her creative makeup looks on her social media pages. There was no way she could guess just how far it would take her. Fast forward to today, and Keilidh become one of Ireland’s most successful names in beauty. Not only has she racked up an impressive 2.7 million followers on TikTok, she is also the proud owner of her very own makeup brand Kash Beauty. She is continuously pushing the boundaries when it comes to makeup, from transforming herself into characters like Mr Bean, to creating and bringing new makeup ideas to the market, (I mean, have you seen their latest launch?! The eyeliner pen has an eraser!).
We interviewed Keilidh to ask her this week’s 10 Questions, as well as what we can expect to see from Kash Beauty in 2024.
1. What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?
Shower! I’m trying not to look at my phone straight away when I wake up. Instead, I try to do something relaxing like showering, styling my hair, or skincare.
2. What is your go-to karaoke song?
I love me some Cher, and I like to think I can do a great impression. Others in my presence might disagree, but I love a bit of Believe!
3. TikTok or Instragram?
Oh this is a hard one. Instagram for inspiration, TikTok for more silly content I can laugh away to myself with!
4. What books have you read lately?
I started re-reading the Twilight series, I LOVED it in my teens so I must be trying to relive my youth haha.
5. What destination is on your bucket-list?
My all-time dream destination would be to go on a safari. I think I would just cry the whole trip from happiness!
6. Last series you binge-watched?
I’m currently binge-watching a series I used to love as a teen called Bones. It’s a crime series, I just love trying to figure out who the culprit is before the end of the episode!
7. Something you want to achieve in 2024?
Balance! Balance between all the different lives I live with work, home life, friends, etc.
8. Quote/advice you live by?
“What is for you won’t pass you by”.
9. Makeup or skincare?
Makeup with skin-loving ingredients, kind of a cop-out here but I could just never live without my makeup!
10. Best thing about your job?
Getting to create products and tutorials to help people with their makeup and to feel more confident and beautiful!
